This position will work with a team of experienced commercial real estate sales professionals to learn the commercial real estate industry, including brokerage, development, financing, and asset management. The position will be a training ground to become a licensed sales associate and relationship manager in the office, retail, industrial and/or investment sales sectors in the greater Oklahoma market.
Job Responsibilities
- Compile sales comparable to justify pricing and positioning.
- Conduct research on tenants to identify pertinent market activity to support marketing and prospecting for brokerage team.
- Monitor market activity, compile recent listings, and complete sales for presentation and discussion with internal team and clients.
- Assist with Prospecting and communication with existing and prospective clients.
- Secure new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling to current client base.
- Compile property data for clients, such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, status updates, and presentations for listing or tenant representative assignments.
- Provide tenants and landlords with pertinent information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values.
- Participate in client tours of property sites to discuss property features, leasing rates, and terms.
- Prepare Letters of Intent, leases and contracts and assist in negotiations with third parties, including regular interactions with clients, brokers, attorneys, lenders, property managers, general contractors, etc.
- Gather and coordinate materials necessary for transactions such as listing agreements, commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements.
- Strong work ethic, team player, self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- High level of self-regulation and able to manage time effectively without direct supervision or intervention.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and thoughtful work-product in a customer-centric manner. Ability to effectively analyze, synthesize, and present information to clients, colleagues, and management.
- Engage in local business community and charitable events, as well as industry and professional associations for the purpose of creating new contacts and generating new business.
- Knowledge of financial terms, concepts, and accounting principles, as well as a basic understanding of real estate. Coursework or practical application of finance, accounting, statistics, and other general business concepts. Financial modeling experience helpful.
- Requires ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information, as well as the ability to accurately explain/report data in both verbal and written communications. Strong analytical skills are critical.
- Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
- This position provides full benefits.
- This position provides a full annual income of $50000.00 for the first year without any commissions for the first year.
- The goal of this position is the establish the next generation of Real Estate Brokers with practical and useful experience.
