SUMMARY:
Wiggins Incorporated is a nationwide MEP contractor that is actively seeking to hire an experienced Electrical Project Manager for Commercial projects for our corporate office located in Montgomery, Alabama.
As a Project Manager with Wiggins Incorporated, you will be able to use your knowledge and skills in the construction industry to assist the company in growing commercially. This position is perfect for someone who has strong commercial electrical skills.
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform site walk-throughs
- Willing to work overtime to meet bidding deadlines
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors
- Responsible for mentoring and managing team members and developing client relationships as the main contact person
- Responsible for client management throughout procurement, construction, and post-construction processes
- Responsible for inspecting the work of all superintendents, field personnel, and subcontractors to ensure the quality and safety standards are being met
- Responsible for writing contracts/purchase orders and reviewing and interpreting the contract documents and verifying they do not deviate from the architectural drawings and bid documents
- Review, complete, and submit monthly pay applications to accounting
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial electrical project management
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, etc.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (phone, email, etc.)
- Team player
- Willing to travel to visit job sites
- Strong commercial electrical skills
- Knowledge of current NEC, NETA, NFPA, 70E, and other technical and safety codes and requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
SALARY IS DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
