Project Architect
Position Purpose:

Accountabilities:
- Prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction schedules.
- Prepare architectural working drawings including all plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules.
- Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
- Represent client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.
- Prepare operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports.
Required Traits & Characteristics:
- Ability to complete work assignments within established budgets and timelines using discretion and judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- InDesign and Photoshop skills desired.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in Architecture
- Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture, NAAB-Accredited
Travel:
- Position based in Kalamazoo, MI
- Travel between offices for collaboration with team members and for project meetings and job sites as needed.
