Wiginton Fire Systems is currently seeking exceptional individuals for the role of Fire Alarm Technicians at our Atlanta (Norcross) Office.
Position Summary
- Program and commission newly installed fire alarm systems.
- Layout, assemble, and install low voltage equipment for fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct thorough testing of all features and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Perform inspections and diagnose any system issues.
- Read, comprehend, and follow product manuals, while also educating customers on system care and maintenance.
- Prepare and submit detailed customer status and completion reports.
- Provide guidance and supervision to helpers and/or installers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina and capability to perform labor-intensive work.
- Strong communication, training, and organizational skills, coupled with a sense of pride and integrity.
- Must enjoy working both independently and outdoors.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean background and driving history.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and inspecting fire alarm systems and panels.
- Preferred certifications include NICET Certifications in fire alarm systems, as well as FASA / BASA.
