Description:
The Ecommerce Product Information Specialist will manage Wiha Tools product data across digital channels. They will be responsible for ensuring content on wihatools.com, Amazon, online retail partners, and additional marketplaces is accurate, consistent, and optimized.
General Responsibilities
- Manage product data, digital assets, pricing, and inventory status in our Product Information Management system (Salsify).
- Map data to internally managed channels (Shopify, Amazon) and external partner channels. When no direct connection is available, add data directly within third-party PIMs or provide data exports.
- Support and improve the information architecture for how, when and which data are flowing between ERP, PIM, Shopify, Amazon, and external partners.
- Monitor content for consistency and take corrective action for our website, Amazon, and other third-party platforms. Includes frequent interfacing with Amazon support and Amazon vendor manager.
- Optimize product content for search rankings and conversion rate, with particular emphasis on Amazon.
- Identify data gaps in the product catalog and prioritize adding missing information.
- Scale data management using taxonomies, field governance, formulas, and automated workflows.
- Maintain strong business relationships internally, as well as externally with Salsify, Amazon, and contacts at online retail partners.
Skills & Qualifications
- Systems thinker with strong understanding of relational databases.
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify or Bigcommerce, and product information management systems, such as Salsify or Akeneo.
- Experience with Amazon Vendor and Seller Central.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data in Excel.
- Knowledge of how to optimize product content for search on Amazon and Google.
- Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Education & Experience
- 3 years of ecommerce, product data management, or related field.
- Minimum of a 2-year college degree in marketing, business, or relevant field.
Physical Demands
- This position is working mainly in an office environment and requires long periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- The ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds is required.
Pay starting at $51,000 per year (Depending on Experience)
