Location & Work Arrangement
- Address: 501 E Lamar St, McKinney, TX
- On-Site Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Role Summary
As an Automotive Vinyl Wrap Installer, you will be responsible for applying a variety of vinyl films to vehicles, including color-change wraps, graphic wraps, and more. You’ll collaborate with a team of experts in a fast-paced environment where precision, attention to detail, and high-quality workmanship are paramount. While most projects will be assigned to you individually, you’ll have the support of fellow installers as needed. Your work will help expand WIKD’s reputation for delivering visually stunning, high-end wrap installations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vinyl Film Installations
- Perform dry-application automotive vinyl film installations, including color-change wraps, multi-tone wraps, decals, and chrome deletes.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects to meet quality and aesthetic standards.
2. Vehicle Preparation & Service
- Prep vehicles for wrap installations.
- Utilize tools such as heat guns, blow torches, blades, squeegees, and pressure washers.
- Operate GraphTec FC9000 and Core as necessary, along with TekMetric.
3. Team & Communication
- Report inventory needs, equipment maintenance, and tool requirements to management.
- Communicate material quality, color/coverage options, manufacturer information, and warranty information to sales staff or customers.
- Collaborate with teammates to complete daily opening/closing tasks, weekly deep clean tasks, and provide assistance on complex projects.
4. Documentation & Quality Control
- Complete required documentation, including a quality control checklist, process checklist, and material consumption rate form for every ticket.
- Accurately estimate labor hours and material usage for assigned projects.
5. Other Duties
- Assist with occasional weekend events or work overtime when needed to meet project deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: No formal educational requirement.
- Technical Expertise:
- 1 year(s) of experience as a vinyl wrap installer
- Familiarity with relevant tools
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with window tint, PPF (paint protection film), ceramic coatings, or paint correction
- Vehicle disassembly experience
- Manufacturer-specific authorized installer or training completion certifications
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $40,000 – $60,000

- 3 days PTO 3 sick days in subsequent years
