What Does a Marketing Generalist Do?
A Marketing Generalist at Wikimotive is responsible for formatting, digital publication, image selection, and SEO optimization of content on our client’s websites, as well as aiding editing efforts as needed. When we say generalist, we mean that you will be exposed to many career paths within the digital marketing space. There will be a lot to learn, but our team will be with you every step of the way. At Wikimotive, we will help you decide where your talents and drive take you to become a dedicated specialist. We grow our talent from the inside, which makes us a great first step for getting into digital marketing. TL;DR You don’t have to know it all before you come here, we’ll train you.
Responsibilities
- Produce a high quality finished product with an high level of attention to detail
- Meet department deadlines

- Work closely with other members of the team to optimize content with SEO best practices in mind
Qualifications
- Familiarity or ready to learn WordPress functionality and implementation as well as HTML / CSS

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity in G Suite applications.
- Familiarity in spreadsheet-based reporting.
- Adept problem solver with extreme attention to detail

Additional Considerations
As this is an in-person entry-level position, we expect Marketing Generalists to shadow Specialists at Wikimotive to discover where they would like to learn more so that we can build out a fulfilling career path. It's not just a job, it's the start of a journey at Wikimotive.
To support our growing multimedia presence, Wikimotive’s offices are utilized for video and audio production as well as photography during regular office hours. As such, team members may be visible in the background of such content. Wikimotive team members are also invited to take a more prominent role in such content based on their ability, comfort level, and desire to do so.
