Aquatics Director
Wikiup Tennis and Swim Club is seeking a Summer Aquatics Director. The Aquatics Director will assist with program quality, managing the summer staff and the scheduling, planning and implementation of all swim programs. The ideal candidate will have current certifications and experience as a swim coach/lifeguard/instructor. This management position will require computer skills and superior organizational skills.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Running aquatics office and in charge of scheduling swim classes and private lessons
- Responsible for training, scheduling and managing lifeguards and swim instructors
- Ensure staff receive and maintain all required certifications
- Help lead, staff and coach both Wikiup summer swim teams
- Administrative office duties including client communication, scheduling, maintaining records
- Maintaining a safe environment
- Manage club scheduling software for booking, tracking and organizing all appointments
- Implementing programs and creating revenue for the club
- Oversight of all levels of swimming: designs and plans for all programs offered
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:
- Previous experience as lifeguard/swim instructor, leadership role preferred
- Computer savvy, able to learn quickly to use and utilize club scheduling software
- Excellent communication skills
- Multi-tasker with ability to lead and manage a young staff
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
- Energetic, encouraging demeanor, able to guide and teach both students and staff
- CPR/First Aide Certified/Lifeguard or Aquatic Director Certification
- Available 2025 Swim Season: April -September

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
