Your day to day as A Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN
As a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse and member of our nursing team at Wilber Care Center, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day needs of the facility. In this role you will be expected to act as the charge nurse on a rotating basis as well as assist with admissions, discharge and transfers of residents as required. Your expertise as a licensed practical nurse will guide certified nursing assistants and certified medication aides in delivering top-notch care that complies with regulations and facility policies. From managing resident needs to administering medications and performing wound treatments, your attention to detail ensures residents receive the best care possible. Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, you will advocate for residents' holistic well-being, demonstrating our commitment to customer-centricity and integrity. Additional Requirements :
- A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or a graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
- Current unrestricted license as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Nebraska
- Current CPR certification
- Weekend and holiday rotations required
