Your day to day as a RN- WEEKEND WARRIOR
As a Weekend Warrior RN at Wilber Care Center, you'll step into a dynamic role where each day brings new opportunities to impact patient lives. Expect to provide exceptional nursing care, from administering medications and monitoring vital signs to collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop patient-centered care plans. Your weekends are focused on ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care while maintaining a fun and lively atmosphere. You'll manage your schedule around 8- or 12-hour shifts, allowing you to immerse yourself in our vibrant community. Be prepared to engage with patients and their families, offering support and encouragement while building lasting relationships.
Emphasizing customer-centricity, each day will involve assessing patient needs and adjusting your approach to align with their preferences, ensuring they feel valued and cared for. Provide leadership and motivation to the nursing team you will oversee as the charge nurse on the weekends, foster growth and development; and provide continued education opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, with a focus on long-term care and / or rehabilitation.
