Job Summary:
The Monument Production is responsible for the precise application of stencils and the skilled operation of sandblasting equipment to create intricate designs and names on stone surfaces. This role requires a strong attention to detail, physical strength to handle heavy stones, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in stone etching. Successful candidates will play a vital role in transforming stone materials into customized works of art while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the etched designs.
Responsibilities:
- Precision Etching: Locate the center of the stone surface and meticulously apply stencils according to specified cut lines.
- Stencil Preparation: Ensure the stencils are properly prepared for the sandblasting process.
- Stone Loading: Safely load stones onto designated racks, demonstrating the ability to handle weights ranging from 100lbs to 200lbs.
- Post-Etching Cleanup: Remove stencils and thoroughly clean the etched stones to achieve a pristine finish.
- Quality Assurance: Compare and review stencils with the layout for verification, ensuring precise execution of designs.
Qualifications:
- Physical Strength: Capable of lifting and moving stones weighing between 100lbs and 200lbs.
- Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate stencil application and high-quality etching.
- Quality Control: Ability to review stencils and layouts for verification, maintaining consistency in etching work.
