Warehouse Lead (12pm-8pm)

Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Do not report employees who perform one of these duties as their primary function. Typical titles include: Materials Handler, Distribution Center Generalist.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain total functionality of the group.
• Ensure that all orders are processed and shipped for 100% on time delivery.
• Ensure that all receipts are verified and entered to minimize inventory and accounting errors
• Delegate the responsibility of each customer to the shipping individuals
• Double-check a percentage of the paperwork for accuracy
• Run reports as needed to verify that we catch even the drop-ins
• Help pull parts for shipment as needed, load and unload as needed
• Ensure warehouse, shipping, receiving, and outside storage areas a kept clean and free of debris
• Incoming and Outgoing product is processed and dispositioned to the proper location in a timely manner.
• Notify upper management in advance of any issues that would result in a late shipment
• Make sure all parts and materials are staged according to the plant layout
• Perform inventory control functions within the warehouse
• Safely use forklifts and other equipment needed for job task.
• Observe all safety requirements and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Experience in warehouse preferred
• Experience using a forklift preferred
• Must obtain and maintain a valid forklift license to hold position
• All required WilbertU Courses based on job title

• Above average math skills
• Average proficiency in office systems software – word processing, spreadsheets, database
• Attention to detail and organization
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work well with others with minimal supervision
• Ability to successful maneuver and operate a forklift truck
