Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven recruiter to join our growing HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from identifying hiring needs to assisting with onboarding new employees. As a Recruiter, you will work closely with directors, managers and the HR team to ensure we attract, select, and hire top talent that aligns with our company culture and business goals. This is a hybrid position with one to two days in an office and occasional travel to remote locations.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Continuously shadow, learn, and stay up-to-date with current job titles, responsibilities, and any changes that may arise within the organization
- Create and post job descriptions on various platforms (job boards, social media, career sites). Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and other creative channels
- Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for the organization
- Negotiate job offers and facilitate the hiring process in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Partner with managers and team leads to understand hiring needs, job specifications, and ideal candidate profiles
- Extend job offers to selected candidates and manage the pre-employment process, including background checks and reference verifications
- Work closely with the HR Generalist during the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition into the company by providing necessary documentation and supporting their first days
- Responsible for conducting remote orientations for our out of state locations. Additionally, in the event that the HR Generalist is unavailable, the Recruiter will be required to travel to our upstate New York locations to lead in-person orientations
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs. Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process
- Track recruitment activities, update applicant tracking systems (ATS), and provide regular reports on hiring progress, challenges, and market trends
- Promote the company as an employer of choice by representing our values, culture, and benefits to candidates in a positive and engaging manner, working with the marketing team to promote initiatives
- Assist with HR clerical duties when assigned
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Proficient with ADP personnel management interface
