What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wilbert Vault Technician position at Wilbert Vault?
The Concrete Manufacturer & Installer performs a variety of tasks in a precast concrete manufacturing environment and on-site at local cemeteries.
Starting wage is $17 per hour with an increase to $18 per hour when you are able to deliver burial vaults independently.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists in the concrete production of the burial vaults
- Preparation of the vault for delivery
- Delivers completed vaults to cemetery
- Sets vaults in cemetery using hydraulic equipment
- Sets up tent, chairs, and prepares the general area for burial
- Wears clean company uniform when required
- Maintains company equipment to be clean and operable
- Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Job training for this position is provided
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Occasional squatting, bending, and overhead work
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant
