Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk and Cashier
Description: Performs various day-to-day accounting responsibilities and provides administrative support for the company.
Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
Assembles, reviews and verifies invoices and check requests.*
Flags and clarifies any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.*
Sorts, codes and matches invoices.*
Sets invoices up for payment.*
Enters and uploads invoices into the accounting system.*
Tracks expenses and processes expense reports.*
Prepares and processes electronic transfers and payments.*
Prepares and performs check runs.*
Posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.*
Reconciles accounts payable transactions.*
Prepares analysis of accounts.*
Monitors customer accounts to ensure payments are up to date.*
Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies and issues.*
Maintains vendor files.*
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.*
Assists with month end closing.*
Provides supporting documentation for audits.*
Maintains accurate historical records.*
Ability to handle cash register operations.*
Assist management with the completion of applications, licenses, permits or registrations as applicable*
Prepares and posts payments from vehicle auction yards and coordinates with tow vendors*
Reconciles purchased vehicles from auctions and enters vehicles into inventory.*
Keeps track of inventory and orders various office and shop supplies.*
Upholds strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced office environment*
Maintains confidentiality of organizational information.*
Follow all safety policies and procedures.*
Other duties may be assigned.

Language Ability:

Education/Experience:
