Complete in an accurate and timely matter to ensure satisfactory billing.Direct coworkers' schedules to satisfy delivery needs.Coordinate shipments of various products with trucking companies.Coordinate transfers of products between branches and main site.Contact trucking companies to coordinate shipments and instruct drivers on the requirements of the loads.Inventory tracking and control. (Fertilizer)Operate truck scale and complete weight tags, bills of lading and hazardous materials shipping papersAnswer telephone and computer inquiries about product ordersCommunicate directions and instructions, both verbally and in writing, to customers, vendors, other employees, and the publicConduct physical inventory counts of products stored in warehouses and bulk storage areasCalculate total quantities of products by weight and / or volumetric measurementsPerforms receptionist duties as needed by responding to calls and visitors in a professional mannerProcess incoming and outgoing mail, order and maintain office supplies, maintain computer and other hard and soft filing systemsUse computer system to enter customer orders for bills of lading and hazardous materials shipping papersOperate truck scales and complete weight tags and shipping papersProvide backup and assistance to other dispatchers and / or receptionist, answering phonesProcess calls from our salesmen, customers, and other branch locations for orders of materialsThe ability to work 50-60 hours per week is a requirement during the busy season and weekends / nights on occasionPresent a professional image to customers in all interactions (verbal, computer, and in-person) and in personal appearancePerform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient mannerCompensation and Benefits : In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $24.28 - $32.36 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
