Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and groundskeeping, with a strong understanding of lawn care practices. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are healthy, attractive, and functional. The Lawn Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results for our clients.
Duties
- Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Assist in hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Operate irrigation systems and perform necessary maintenance to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
- Engage in snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access for clients.
- Dig, build, and landscape as needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify issues such as pests or diseases affecting plants.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools relevant to groundskeeping tasks.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and snow plowing techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Requirements
- Must have valid Michigan Driver’s License with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and randomized drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs on regular basis.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
