What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attractions Manager position at Wild Adventures Theme Park?
The Attractions Manager is responsible for the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of the Attractions areas of operations. This position is responsible for all field and administrative duties, including budget, inspections, maintenance, install / build, updates, and improvements, as well as the day-to-day operation of the assigned areas. The Attractions Manager will hire, train, supervise, schedule, direct, and coach all team members in the area.
Essential Functions
- Provide leadership and direction to the Attractions Team on an ongoing basis
- Direct all aspects of the employment experience for Attractions team members, to include screening, hiring, training, motivating, retaining, developing, disciplining, promoting, and terminating
- Direct the development and implementation of department policies, procedures, including the development and revision of appropriate training manuals.
- Ensure that the overall Attractions operations meet the company standards for service, safety, cleanliness, and labor and financial efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate laws and industry standards
- Develop and implement the necessary business plans for the Departments, including annual financial business plans, long range plans, reinvestment plans, budgets, etc.
- Work closely with Director of Attractions to develop product plans for Seasonal Events.
- Work closely with Safety, Maintenance, and Aquatics Managers to ensure safe and smooth operation.
- Ensure all equipment / materials in area of responsibility are in good repair, performing or coordinating preventative maintenance and repair as required / appropriate, working within budget constraints
- Work with outside vendors to ensure standards of service within areas. Ensure contracts are completed properly and follow company standards.
- Maintain inventory of all props / supplies / materials, developing plans / budgets for repair / replace
- Serve as Attractions on Duty manager of the Day
- Ensure that the overall assigned operation meets the company standards for service, safety, cleanliness, and labor and financial efficiency
- Assist, cooperate with, and coordinate operations with other Wild Adventures divisions and departments
- Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
- Create "Memories Worth Repeating" for our guests
- Perform other duties as assigned
