What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merch Area Supervisor position at Wild Adventures Theme Park?
- Maintain a smooth flow of communication between department supervisors and Team members.
- Training all new Team Members in specific procedures for assigned location.
- Ensuring that all Team Members deliver outstanding guest service at all times.
- Understand all company and department guidelines, including all uniform and grooming, absence and tardy, and situations requiring disciplinary action.
- Maintain the highest level of guest service and satisfaction.
- Ensure all staffing needs are met on a daily basis.
- Provide constructive feedback to location team members. Give frequent oral evaluations and share ways in which they can improve.
- Assist in training on a daily basis.
- Communicate with Merchandise Supervisor regarding staffing needs.
- Ensure your location is opened and closed at its scheduled time.
- Observe receiving methods to ensure all policies are being followed.
- Correct any safety violations and potential hazards, and communicate to supervisor
- Responsible for product placement and cleanliness of games.
- Assist in Annual Inventory and monthly cycle counts.
- Track damaged goods.
- Protect company assets: money, merchandising, equipment. Maintain accurate operational and loss prevention procedures.
- Must be willing and able to handle sensitive information and accurately account for cash and credit transactions
- Implement and enforce pre-established guidelines/policy of Merchandise Department and Wild Adventures.
- Pleasant, polite manner with guests and Team members while creating a team spirit to achieve Wild Adventures Mission.
- Maintain full stock levels and exciting displays in all games.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. Report any unsafe conditions, activity or injury immediately to a manager or supervisor.
- Daily completion of all paperwork including break documents and supply requisition forms.
- Clean and maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas
- Report any unsafe actions or area or any needed repairs to your team lead/ supervisor
- Work cooperatively with all departments and assisting as necessary
- Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
- Maintain a groomed look, good personal hygiene including wearing a clean WA uniform
