Carpenter Apprentice

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while learning from skilled professionals. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will assist in various carpentry tasks, contributing to the construction and installation of structures and fixtures. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Help with trim carpentry tasks, ensuring precision and quality in finishes.
• Engage in heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials or equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of hand tools used in carpentry is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Familiarity with high-quality construction techniques is a plus.
• Experience or interest in trim carpentry will be advantageous.
• Strong desire to build skills in the carpentry trade with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
