Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
- Modeling and forecasting to develop business strategies
- Collaborate with CEO to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
- Plan and oversee the daily operations of the business
- Lead, hire, train and supervise staff, monitoring performance and providing constructive criticism for maximum performance
- Continuously evaluate the business processes for maximum efficiency according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage external partners including the procurement process, vendor negotiation, 3PL providers, and coordinate material and resources allocation
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
- Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Ensure that operations adhere to the company’s policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field
- 10 years of overall experience with increasing responsibility and management experience
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience developing operational plans and budgets with forecasting and modeling experience
- Strong knowledge in multiple functions including warehouse operations, customer service, supply chain, vendor management
- Experience working with 3PL vendors and large wholesale distributors
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
- Experience working with an ERP system is required, NetSuite is preferred
- Knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
