We are seeking Director of Operations to create, organize, oversee and implement day-to-day operations to improve efficiency, minimize risk, and meet company objectives. Reporting to the CEO, he/she will ensure the company's overall goals, objectives, and mission are carried out through daily operations and customer interactions, while ensuring compliance with standard and regulations. The ideal candidate is a strategic and motivating leader with warehouse and business operations experience.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Modeling and forecasting to develop business strategies
  • Collaborate with CEO to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
  • Plan and oversee the daily operations of the business
  • Lead, hire, train and supervise staff, monitoring performance and providing constructive criticism for maximum performance
  • Continuously evaluate the business processes for maximum efficiency according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Manage external partners including the procurement process, vendor negotiation, 3PL providers, and coordinate material and resources allocation
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Ensure that operations adhere to the company’s policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field
  • 10 years of overall experience with increasing responsibility and management experience
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience developing operational plans and budgets with forecasting and modeling experience
  • Strong knowledge in multiple functions including warehouse operations, customer service, supply chain, vendor management
  • Experience working with 3PL vendors and large wholesale distributors
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
  • Experience working with an ERP system is required, NetSuite is preferred
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
