We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of staff. Duties
- Overseeing daily operations and staff management.
- Assist with the payroll processing and ensure accurate employee records.
- Monitor sales performance and assist in setting pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment and loss prevention measures.
- Train, mentor, and supervise team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Conduct regular audits of sales reports and inventory levels to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role is preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry seed for our customer - a foundation of our service!
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in inventory control processes is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Interested in backyard bird feeding but no experience with the hobby is necessary. WE WILL TRAIN YOU!

Pay: $16.59 - $17.46 per hour
