Local Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess good work ethics, strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods.
• Follow designated routes for delivery while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with clients.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must be able to pass driving record, a police report will be used to verify eligibility for the position before job is officially offered.
• Must be able to drive in all weather, lift up to 70 pounds, and be on your feet for ten hours.
• Must be able to push, pull, twist, turn, and lift with no issues for ten hours a day and up to forty hours a week.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
