What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Wild For Salmon?
General Description
Drivers will work directly under the Operations Coordinator making deliveries for but not limited to wholesale and buying clubs for Wild for Salmon.
Key Responsibilities:
· Check the bay temperatures before leaving and after your return.
· Fill out truck paperwork as needed.
· Wash the trucks as needed.
· May include overnights.
Wholesale:
- Make deliveries to various locations.
- Check invoices when dropping off and get them signed.
Buying Clubs:
- Check off paperwork as you hand deliver customers their orders.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers.
· Ability to work independently and to carry out tasks to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Work in a fast-paced environment.
· DOT Physical (to be supplied by Wild for Salmon)
· ServSafe Food Handler Certification (to be supplied by Wild for Salmon)
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Work in extreme temperatures (e.g., hot, or cold)
· Standing for long periods of time (8 hours a day)
· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA other federal, state, and local standards.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
