SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

In this position, you’ll work closely with our Marketing Director and Creative Director to bring Wild For Salmon’s story to life across all social platforms. You will play a key role in expanding our reach, fostering a loyal following, and engaging directly with the people who are just as passionate about health & wellness, the natural world and sustainably sourced seafood as we are.
- Lead Social Strategy: Develop and implement social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube, with a focus on deepening engagement and expanding our community.
- Content Creation & Curation: Craft compelling content that tells the Wild For Salmon story, while staying true to our brand’s roots in health & wellness, sustainability, quality, and connection to the earth.
- Community Engagement: Own the day-to-day management of social interactions—respond to followers, build relationships, and drive conversations that reflect our values.
- Trendspotting: Stay ahead of social media trends and leverage new opportunities to keep our content fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Work with our Data Analyst to track performance metrics and use insights to continually optimize content strategy and refine our approach to reach new audiences and deepen relationships with existing ones.
- Collaboration: Work side-by-side with the Creative Director to ensure that our visual identity and messaging remain consistent across all channels.
- Partnerships & Influencer Outreach: Manage and grow relationships with brand advocates and ambassadors, ensuring their experiences align with our mission and values.
- Campaign Management: Oversee and coordinate social media-driven campaigns, working with our advertising agency and project managers to align with email and paid media promotions.
- Reporting: Keep the team informed with regular updates on social performance and progress at our weekly Marketing meetings.
- A passion for storytelling and the ability to translate that into engaging content.
- Examples of your interest in health & wellness (i.e. instagram, blog, portfolio etc)
- 1-2 years of experience managing social media platforms, growing brand presence, and building communities online.
- A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the nuances of visual content—graphic design skills are a plus!
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset—you're someone who thrives working closely with others to bring shared visions to life.
