Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining a positive interaction with guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including kitchen procedures and menu items, is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of Asian cuisine is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to multi-task.
