Wild Iris Family Medicine is hiring a medical receptionist. Wild Iris is a single-physician family medicine clinic with a focus on the patient and the patient’s needs. We are looking for an organized, personable person to greet patients and keep the front desk and office in order.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in patients. Collect information from patients efficiently.
Answer phone calls, triage and respond appropriately.
Schedule patient appointments.
Confirm insurance and billing details within the EMR.
Collect co-pays accurately.
Office clerical organization.
Office cleanliness.
Communicate effectively with other medical facilities.
Qualifications:
Compassionate.
HS degree. GED.
Previous experience as medical receptionist or customer service preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
Strong communication skills.
Detail-oriented, responsible and timely.
Experience with using an EMR is a plus.
Tech-savvy.
Willing to problem solve.
