Description
Wild Laurel provides a limited bar and lunch menu for golfers and guests. Bartenders will be responsible for providing guests with a memorable experience at Wild Laurel. They will be expected to uphold our highest standards of hospitality by being attentive, professional and efficient behind the bar at all times. They will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all product behind the bar, specifically with a focus on craft beer.
Responsibilities:
Duties shall include but no be limited to:
- Knowledge of a range of craft beer
- Sets-up and breaks-down various service areas as required
- Stocking and upkeep of various inventory points on property
- Maintains assigned bar or station to fit guests’ needs (i.e. pool, beverage cart, etc.)
- Carries out specific tasks as assigned by management
- Routinely cleans and maintains bar equipment
- Routinely cleans bar
- Must have good organizational and disciplined skills
- Must be able to remain calm under high pressure situations
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
Qualifications:
· Ability to understand and receive instruction in English
· Works cooperatively with others in a team environment
· Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
Experience/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-4 years of experience
- Experience in the service industry and dealing with the general public
- Willing to obtain a TABC server’s permit prior
- Golf Course Bartending experience a plus
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs
- Must be able to work long hours and be on feet for a long period of time
- Must be able to safely operate a golf cart
Work Environment
- Dining Room, Bar and Kitchen areas
- 100 acres of Wild Laurel property
Compensation
· Hourly rate begins at $14/hr tips
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
