What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at Wild Ocean Seafood Market?
This position priority is customer service and knowledge of seafood. You will be working in our seafood market primarily as a cashier. You will perform all cash register functions and assist customers during the check-out process in our market and eatery.
MUST BE WILLING TO WORK BOTH OUR LOCATIONS (Titusville and Port Canaveral)
Essential Job Functions:
1. Take guests food seafood orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
2. Display, weigh, and pack fresh fish for customers.
3. Reliability to be present and work the days agreeable to both associate and employer.
4. Answer customers questions about offerings and make recommendations when asked (training provided on the job if selected candidate doesn't have much knowledge about fish and seafood)
5. Enter orders in point of sale system
6. Package and label products
7. Ensure store is maintained, clean, and well organized
8. Complete required opening and closing checklist
9. Demonstrate a sense of teamwork, initiative, and enthusiasm
10. Must be able to stand for multiple hours at a time
11. Must be able to handle fish and seafood products
Requirements:
- 18 year or older
- Prior experience in retail or food service a plus but not required

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
