- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards and restaurant policies.
- Sanitate tables, utensils, and other dining areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist in bussing tables efficiently to ensure quick turnover for incoming guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively assist guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards is advantageous.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
