Wild Wing Cafe is a restaurant chain in the southern and eastern parts of the United States with 44 locations in nine U.S. states and best known for chicken wings and beer selection.

Overview

As part of our team, you’ll contribute to the guest experience by providing great guest service in the dining

room. You’ll have fun while demonstrating hospitality in all you do. Our goal at Wild Wing Cafe is to say “yes”

to the guest, creating memorable experiences to bring guests back again and again.

You’ll support fellow team members – teamwork is a must! You’ll take orders, follow steps of service,

proactively manage your tables, maintain a clean dining room, pre-bus tables and care for your guests,

making them feel like family. You’ll multi-task throughout your shift, restock and keep floors clear of trash

and spills.

Integrity is important. You’ll learn Wild Wing Cafe standards and be required to maintain them. You’re

responsible for following proper cash-handling procedures, collecting signed credit card slips, accurately

providing change back to guests, entering tips accurately, tipping out appropriately, cleaning your area to

standard and accurately checking-out before leaving.

Job Responsibilities

 Serves guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner

 Provides information to help food and beverage selections

 Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner

 Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude

 Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol policies

 Helps guests select food and beverages, suggesting limited-time menu options, beverages that

complete their vision of a great meal and sharing menu knowledge when needed

 Ability to build sales, up-sell menu items and adult beverages

 Accurately enter orders into the POS system

 Keep guests informed at all times about next steps when leaving the table

 Manages guest service pacing

 Communicates professionally and gets a manager involved when guest situations arrive – no-matter-

what, to ensure guests return

 Keeps kitchen manager informed of open menus/guest traffic (building/decreasing)

 Demonstrates teamwork by delivering hot food and bar drinks as needed

 Positively responds (my pleasure/absolutely) to guest requests. Involves a manager when unable to

deliver on a guest request

 Always maintains a clean station and broader dining room areas (open to close)

 Maintains tabletops - removes dirty plates, trash, empty glassware without delay, throughout the

guest experience

 Accurately closes checks, enters tips into the POS and maintains guest credit card security, returns

credit cards to guests and collects signed credit card slips to maintain accurate record keeping

 Genuinely thanks guests for choosing us and invites them back (we’ll see you tomorrow)
