What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Sous Chef position at Wildair?
Veterans of the LES - Wildair and Contra are looking for young, enthusiastic Sous Chefs to join our team at 140 Orchard.
Wildair is a 10 year old concept on Orchard St., next to the Michelin-starred Contra of 11 years.
We would like to find a Sous Chef who will run the day-to-day operations in the kitchen with culinary support from two of the cities more cutting edge chefs.
Wildair is smaller plates with natural wine and lots of great guests and team members. We are rounding out our team with a natural leader who can work well with others and take responsibility. We have won best new chefs from Food/Wine, Bon Appetite's Hot Ten, NY Times best of the year, amongst many other culinary distinctions. A pioneer in natural wine since 2013, Wildair is a fun wine driven establishment that is looking for someone to continue the tradition with us on good eats and awesome drinks.
2-3 years experience in either Jr Sous of Sous Chef level work is preferred but not mandatory.

Basic ability to use excel or sheets

Experience ordering or making order lists
