JOB SUMMARY:

To direct and supervise Food Services Team Members to maximize sales, service, and productivity; to select, order, receive, price, stock, and display Department merchandise within Department guidelines and according to Wildberries’ policies and procedures; to merchandise Department product lines to maximize sales and customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Direct and supervise all Food Services Team Members as required.
  • Ensure Team Member productivity and superior customer service.
  • Assist in Team Member performance and discipline processes in a timely manner and according to policy.
  • Identify training and development opportunities for Team Members in conjunction with the Food Services Manager.
  • Coordinate Team Member work duties and procedures with the Food Services Manager.
  • Select, order, receive, price, stock, and display Department merchandise.
  • Handle Department damaged/out of date product according to Department procedures.
  • Review Department invoices for accuracy.
  • Maintain order invoices and product quality assurance.
  • Meet/work with other Team Members to achieve Team/store goals.
  • Perform Department inventories as directed.
  • Assist customers as needed.
  • Report safety violations or concerns to Food Services Manager or MOD
  • Ensure Department sanitation and cleanliness are up to Health Code standards.
  • Report security concerns to MOD.
  • Assume Food Service Manager duties in their absence, if applicable.
  • Other duties and assignments as directed.
  • Must maintain a minimum score of 44 on annual evaluation to maintain this position.

Safety and Sanitation:

  • Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness at all times.
  • Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
  • Practices proper lifting techniques and personal safety precautions.
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area at all times.
  • Enforces Health Code standards among all Team Members.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely.
  • Watch the store floor at all times for potential hazards (spills, debris, fallen items), take action as necessary or inform the store MOD.
  • Practices and enforces proper food handling including sanitizing of work surfaces, proper hand-washing, etc.

Interpersonal

  • Listens and communicates effectively at all times.
  • Accepts constructive criticism well. Provides constructive criticism in an appropriate manner to all Food Service Team Members.
  • Works well under pressure and maintains a positive and productive energy-level.
  • Shows professionalism and poise when dealing with customers and co-workers.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a commitment to providing excellent service to our guests.
  • Document and report any interpersonal conflicts in a timely manner and with full confidentiality.

Administrative

  • Knows and understands Wildberries’ Mission Statement and practices its values daily.
  • Adheres to all Wildberries policies, rules and regulations as outlined in the Wildberries manuals and handbooks.
  • Reads and remains current on all posted store information.
  • Able to work Weekends and Weekdays, Nights and Mornings.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality with all Team Members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Possess Food Handler’s card.
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities described above in a timely manner.
  • Ability to take direction from Food Services Manager, MOD, ASM, GM, and SM
  • Ability to organize and direct staff with poise and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work effectively as a Team Member in all positions within the Food Service Team.
  • Ability to prioritize duties when faced with interruptions, fluctuating workload.
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks to all Team Members in a timely manner and with poise.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • English language proficiency, both speaking and reading.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Café Department within a fast-paced grocery store.
  • Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 30 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs. infrequently.
  • Frequent exposure to hot and cold temperatures and inclement weather conditions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and/or sit up to eight hours per day.
  • Must be able to perform functions with repetitive wrist, arm, back, and leg motion.
  • Must be able to listen and talk sufficient enough to communicate with co-workers.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, vision sufficient enough to read, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Independent mobility through the store.
