REPORTS TO: Assistant Store Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Incumbent must have full schedule availability for all store hours. Supervise the Customer Service Specialists during an assigned shift. Operations Lead will ensure the customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Operations Lead will maintain the stores appearance and product presentation to Wildberries standards. Operations Lead will provide support to Customer Service Specialists during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise. Operations Lead must contribute to the development of processes and procedures. Operations Lead must have thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide proper training for Team Members; assist with performance evaluations; identify gaps for appropriate solutions and/or counseling;
  • Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly; coordinate meetings and events to encourage safety, security and policies;
  • Ensure that the store is appropriately staffed and effectively opened and closed each day. Personally open the store a minimum of two times per week; personally close the store a minimum of two times per week;
  • Monitor expense control opportunities, potential shrink, and errors;
  • Facilitate the efficient staging, stocking and storage of merchandise by following defined company work processes;
  • Ensure that all merchandise is presented according to established practices; utilize merchandise fixtures properly including presentation, product pricing and signage;
  • Monitor accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls;
  • Ensure the financial integrity of the store through strict cashier accountability, key control, and adherence to stated company security practices and cash control procedures;
  • Provide superior customer service leadership;
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized store; facilitate a safe and secure working and shopping environment;
  • Ensure that store is adequately equipped with tools necessary to perform required tasks;
  • Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual, Employee Handbook, and company communications; ensure employee compliance; and
  • Complete all paperwork and documentation according to guidelines and deadline

Safety and Sanitation:

  • Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness at all times.
  • Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
  • Practices proper lifting techniques and personal safety precautions.
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area at all times.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely.
  • Watches store floor at all times for potential hazards (spills, debris, fallen items) and takes action as necessary or informs store Operations Lead.
  • As applicable, practices proper food handling including sanitizing of work surfaces, proper hand-washing, etc.

  • Listens and communicates well with staff, managers, and guests.
  • Accepts constructive criticism well. Provides constructive criticism in an appropriate manner.
  • Works well under pressure and maintains a positive and productive energy-level.
  • Shows professionalism and poise when dealing with customers and co-workers.

Administrative

  • Knows and understands Wildberries’ Mission Statement and practices its values daily.
  • Adheres to all Wildberries policies, rules and regulations as outlined in the Wildberries manuals and handbooks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • 2 years’ experience, preferably in a grocery store setting.
  • English language proficiency, both speaking and reading.
  • Superior customer services skills;
  • Experience supervising staff;
  • Ability to take direction from others;
  • Ability to work effectively as a Team Member; and
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and Managers.

  • Fast-paced grocery store setting
  • Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 30 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs. infrequently.
  • Occasional exposure to hot and cold temperatures and inclement weather conditions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and/or sit up to eight hours per day.
  • Must be able to perform functions with repetitive wrist and arm motion.
  • Hearing and talking sufficient enough to communicate with co-workers.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, vision sufficient enough to read, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Independent mobility through store.
