About the Role – As a Senior Associate with Wildcat Lending’s REO (Real Estate Owned) Asset Management team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of REO properties, overseeing asset valuation, rehabilitation, marketing, and negotiations. You will play a critical role maintaining strong industry relationships, while ensuring the financial success of the REO portfolio. This role combines strategic negotiation skills with sophisticated problem-solving abilities to develop effective solutions for complex deals. You will work closely with borrowers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal outcomes for a diverse real estate portfolio. Responsibilities

Portfolio & Asset Management

  • Manage a diverse multi-state portfolio of REO properties from acquisition through disposition
  • Conduct property evaluations and determine optimal pricing strategies
  • Oversee the closing process and ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation
  • Create and monitor KPIs for the portfolio and deliver regular updates to company executives

Property Management & Maintenance

  • Oversee third-party maintenance and upkeep of REO properties to ensure marketability
  • Proactively bid and contract property maintenance to minimize costs and maintain asset value
  • Coordinate property inspections, repairs, and ongoing maintenance
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, investors, and company executives
  • Assist in negotiations with potential buyers and coordinate the sale process
  • Communicate updates and address concerns from portfolio stakeholders
  • Marketing & Sales Support

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to attract buyers
  • Oversee all marketing of REO properties, including coordination with realtors and third-party sales professionals
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, property values, and competitive positioning
  • Administrative & Financial Oversight

  • Ensure group’s organization, maintain records, and manage communications related to REO properties
  • Monitor financial performance, track property rehabilitation, and develop budgets for profitability
  • Utilize proptech software to streamline portfolio management and performance tracking
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on property status, transactions, and financials
  • Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field preferred; MBA is a plus
  • 5 years of experience in property management, asset management, or a related real estate role is preferable; experience with REO properties is a plus
  • Strong understanding of real estate transactions, contracts, legal compliance, and REO asset management preferred
  • Technical expertise in real estate management software, proptech tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, the proven ability to multitask, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to interact effectively with third-party entities
  • REO and property or asset management related certification(s) or designation a plus
