Wilder Auto, the largest dealership in Clallam and Jefferson counties, is looking for the right individual to join our team as an Automobile Sales Trainee. Have you ever looked at a salesperson and thought, I have the persona and professional mindset, and I can do that? This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to build a career in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to succeed and grow, with the ability to engage and connect with our large database of customers both in person and over the phone. During your training, you’ll gain valuable experience while learning about all five of our renowned brands—Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Volkswagen, and CDJR. You’ll receive hands-on coaching and earn an income while you develop the skills necessary to thrive in a rewarding sales career. Sales Representative Compensation and Benefits:

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership
  • Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
  • Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses

Sales Representative Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & negotiating pricing
  • Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills
  • Interest in training additional sales associates once you get up to speed and working in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license
