Wildermuth Memorial Church, Carroll, Ohio 43112 is seeking a dynamic full-time Pastor. We are a small church in transition.
We are looking for a full-time Pastor who lives in Fairfield County (a Parsonage will be provided if not current resident of Fairfield County) and is committed to growing our ministry and being involved in the Lancaster / Carroll and surrounding communities.
Full-time Pastor Qualifications :
- Create and maintain an exciting, engaging environment for people to encounter God through community and discipleship.
- Lead and facilitate weekly Sunday and Wednesday services, and weekly Bible Study.
- Have a deep genuine concern for the care of the congregation.
- Have solid communication abilities and a creative mind with a desire to think outside of the box.
- Follow up with every new guest that attends and create a process that is personal and effective.
- Officiate funerals and weddings and conduct premarital counseling.
- Participate in church community outreach and activities.
- Be knowledgeable of social media and computers. Be willing to manage the church website.
- Work with the church board.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree is required. Highly preferred that the degree is from a Christian College.
- Ordained.
Experience :
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Be a passionate, competent teacher of the Bible and foundations of the Christian faith.
