Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Wilderness Resort. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Greet employees, owners, visitors, and contractors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Inform owners of and enforce Resort rules and regulations in an appropriately friendly and professional manner.
- Monitor and authorize entrance to all persons attempting to gain access to the Resort to guard against theft and maintain security.
- Take predetermined action and render first aid in emergencies such as accidents, fires, and illnesses.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Prepare reports, both verbal and written.
- Maintain communication with other departments on the resort.
Requirements:
- Current/Valid Drivers license
- Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Ability to work extended periods of sitting while working the gate and patrolling in a vehicle
- Ability to work extended periods of walking and standing while responding to owner inquiries or emergency situations
- Occasional running while responding to emergency situations
