Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarian in providing medical care to animals
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, such as bloodwork and urinalysis
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take and develop x-rays
- Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals during their stay at the clinic or hospital
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques
- Understanding of veterinary terminology
- Ability to handle dogs & cats safely and effectively during examinations and procedures
- Skill in animal catheterization procedures
- Proficiency as a veterinary technician, including knowledge of aseptic technique

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
