Job Summary
Wildfire Credit Union is seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to develop engaging, informative, and brand-aligned content across multiple platforms. This plays a key part in enhancing our brand presence, driving member engagement, and supporting business growth through compelling and strategic content.
Responsibilities
- Develop content creation and strategies using various channels including website, social media, email campaigns, newsletters and print materials.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency.
- Create social media content and engages in informs members while promoting credit union initiatives.
- Works closely with subject matter experts to translate complex financial concepts in easy-to-understand content.
- Stays updated on financial trends, regulations, and best practices in credit union marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
- 2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting or marketing with a preference for that experience being in finance, banking or credit unions.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with technical writing principles is a plus.
- Experience managing content across social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems.
- Basic understanding of graphic design or video editing is a plus.
