What we are looking for :
Wildfire is seeking a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for technology to join our team as an AV Technician . In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment, as well as ensuring the successful integration of AV systems. You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality AV solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities :
- Install and set up audio and video equipment including TVs, speakers, video wall displays, automation processors, amplifiers and sound processors
- Utilize hand and power tools to mount and safely secure equipment
- Wire CAT6 data jacks, install network switches and fiber optic cables
- Run and terminate audio and video cables following established standards and best practices
- Support the testing and calibration of AV systems once installed, ensuring optimal performance and functionality in preparation for field engineering’s onsite commissioning
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installations and projects, to include interfacing with architects, general or electrical contractors, and clients throughout the entire phase of the project
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Carry out warehouse organization and shipping and receiving duties as needed
- Assist with client training
- Attend manufacturer trainings and continued education as needed
Position Requirements :
Hours : This opening is a full-time hourly position. Typical hours are Monday – Friday 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM, but our candidates must be flexible on those occasions that require earlier / later hours.
Compensation : Hourly, based on relevant experience and certifications.
