What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at WILDFLOUR ARTISEN BAKERY?
Wildflour Artisan Bakery & Grill in Canyon Lake, TX is looking for line cooks (2) to join our team. We are located at 2000 Fm 2673 in Sattler and 20884 FM 306. Our ideal candidates are quality focused, attentive, ambitious, consistent, reliable, act with a sense of urgency and a team player. Previous line and prep work on flat tops, grills and cold stations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation to recipe specifications.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff and to recipe specifications
- Demonstrate quality plate presentation
- Clean up station for shutdown and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory
- Demonstrate food safety knowledge and practices
- Must have or secure food handlers license
- Skills in breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items on flat tops and grills
- Cold sandwich and salad preparation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred
- Grilling experience - steaks, burgers, fish, chicken
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments
- Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong team player
