We are searching for a Center Director join our awesome team at our movement & wellness-based preschool & child care.
Duties
The Center Director will:
Duties:
- Partners with Executive Director to fulfill the tasks listed below
- Ensure the happiness, quality of program and safety of all the children
- Support school coverage
- Create daily schedules
- Deliver on the expectations of the school to treat our families and customers with the highest standard of service
- Assist the administrator and leadership team in the development and refinement of the center’s programs
- Supervise planning and implementation of center’s programs
- Responsible to maintain an impeccable licensing track record
- Supervise, motivate and hold staff accountable
- Conduct staff meetings
- Direct and delegate the orientation of new classroom staff
- Plan continuing education training and professional development for staff
- Ensure the cleanliness of the facility is impeccable through delegation of tasks
- Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to: billing, payroll, maintenance requests, basic maintenance and repairs

Requirements
- Passionate about working with children and families
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education/development or related field (preferred)
- Meet training and experience requirements in one of the DCF-approved combinations as stated in the rules book.
- Willing to complete any required additional credits to achieve the required certifications. The school supports with the cost of the trainings.
- Minimum Registry level 12, with desire to obtain level 14

- Master’s degree in applicable field
