Description:

We are a growing meadery in Navasota, TX, located on the oldest, continuously operating beekeeping farm in the State of Texas. We are looking to hire multiple positions for our downtown location .

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the food service, hospitality, events, winery/brewery industry to become part of our small, but amazing team as we grow our brand and business. We are looking for someone to become part of our WildFlyer family.

This is a tipped position.

This position has a starting pay of $5.00 to $8.00 hourly, plus tips.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with a great tasting room team, willing to take on all tasks to help the team succeed
• Communicate efficiently with the rest of the management team
• Enforce all Tasting Room procedures including opening/closing, cleanliness, stocking, preparation, etc
• Restocking bottles and changing kegs
• Cleaning bar and table surfaces throughout the shift
• Wiping down chairs, railings, and other high-touch surfaces
• Removing and disposing of bags from trash receptacles
• Removing used glassware and other utensils from customers’ tables during their stay
• Sweeping and mopping in and around bar service areas and customer common areas
• Answering customer questions and routing customer complaints to the appropriate staff member
• Assisting Ambassadors with taking customer orders and processing orders in the point-of-sale system during peak business hours
• Stocking bar items such as glassware, cups, napkins, ice, towels, and cleaning supplies (this may include restocking for bar opening or closing)
• Ensuring that taps, coolers, and other appliances are working properly; troubleshooting simple malfunctions as needed
• Completes all side work in the front and/or back of the house as assigned and scheduled by the members of the management team
• Reads order tickets as they arrive and ensures orders are correct before delivering to the customer
• Tracks cooking times on all orders, and checks finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation
• Garnishes finished entrees according to house specifications and procedures
• Picks up food products for orders placed by the service staff and delivers the meal to our guests
• Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guest's dining experience
• Sets up the front line with the equipment, plate ware, and small wares needed to effectively serve all food products

Preferred Qualifications:

-Hospitality experience, including barback/serving, guest management

-Experience working with a small team

-Experience working in fast-paced environments

Required Qualifications:

-Comfort around customer service, sales

-TABC seller/server certification

-Food Handlers Certification

Must be willing to work weekends and evenings. This position is currently for Wednesday-Sunday.
