Position Overview: Wilding Brands is seeking a skilled and passionate Packaging Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team. We are committed to crafting world-class beer, and you will play a key role in upholding this standard.

Your primary responsibilities will include machine operation and beverage packaging and kegging for all Wilding Brands beers. We’re looking for someone with a sharp attention to detail, a deep respect for quality, and a drive to continuously improve. Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Packaging duties (Running Packaging Equipment, moving and stacking cases, cleaning and filling Kegs, testing beverages, and CIP)
• Manage and execute the packaging schedule sometimes autonomously
• Perform designated tasks as directed by your manager
• Troubleshooting on packaging equipment as needed
• Manage Packaging items (Can and Keg organization, 5S tools)
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment (including CIP and sanitation of all vessels)
• Perform Lab Sampling Duties & QA with follow up
• Perform routine maintenance activities
• Package the best beer in the world and be a Wilding Brands ambassador - educate and inspire others about beer!

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional packaging experience
• Prior experience in packaging and warehouse management
• Comfortable working on different packaging machines
• Prior experience and forklift certification is a PLUS!
• Thrives in a fast paced environment yet maintains attention to detail
• Able to work smart, multitask, and understand time efficiency
• Able to both give and take creative feedback in a positive way
• Able to follow, improve, and create SOPs focused on efficiently packaging beer
• Able to reliably travel between DBC taprooms and production facility for brew days, cellaring, meetings and/or to assist with brewery functions
• This is a physically demanding role - must be able to frequently and repeatedly lift heavy materials (55 lbs ) and full kegs
• Occasional weekend and evening packaging schedule to meet production demands

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $19-$23 per hour - Depending on experience
