Position: Team Manager
Location: Based in Ocala, Florida with regular day travel throughout Central Florida
Reports To: Operations Manager
Direct Reports: Field Technicians
Job Summary
The Team Manager at Wildlife Works LLC is responsible for leading and developing team members, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills to uphold company standards and drive performance. Additionally, the Team Manager will oversee wildlife trapping and exclusion operations, ensuring safe and effective removal of nuisance wildlife.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to field technicians and team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional growth.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Wildlife Trapping & Exclusion Operations
- Oversee humane wildlife trapping and exclusion services to resolve customer concerns.
- Ensure proper use of industry-standard tools and techniques for safe and ethical wildlife removal.
- Train and mentor technicians on best practices in wildlife management.
Operational Efficiency & Execution
- Oversee daily operations and workflow to ensure efficiency.
- Implement process improvements to optimize productivity.
- Monitor team performance and address any operational challenges.
Customer Satisfaction & Communication
- Ensure high-quality service and customer experience.
- Address escalated customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Clearly communicate company goals and expectations to the team.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Promote a culture of workplace safety and risk mitigation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.
Reporting & Accountability
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide regular reports on team performance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role.
- Prior experience in wildlife trapping, exclusion, or pest control preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety protocols, and humane wildlife handling.
- Proficiency in operational and performance tracking.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
