Wildlife Control Operator – Full-Time/Part-Time
Location: Ocala, FL

Wildlife Works LLC is hiring Wildlife Control Operators (Wildlife Technicians) to join our team in Ocala, FL. Whether you’re seeking a full-time or part-time role, this is an exciting opportunity to work in the field of wildlife management, using innovative techniques to solve animal conflicts.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Abide regulations by FL Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission
- Climbing and moving ladders or heavy equipment of around 50-70 lbs
- Comfortable and able to safely traverse rooftops and attic spaces
- Operating basic power tools
- Capable of learning basic wildlife behavior and sign
- Comfortable handling various wildlife species
- Work in a team environment with a positive attitude
- Following direction and problem solve
- Arrive on job sites within a specified timeframe
- Provide a person vehicle for travel to and from shop (work vehicles provided for daily operations)
Skills and qualifications:
- Positive attitude
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Basic hand and power tool skills
- Adaptive and creative mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting
- Comply with all company, local, state, and federal laws & regulations
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70lbs
- Capable of climbing ladders
- Capable of maneuvering tight spaces such as attics safely
- Comfortable working in Florida weather during all seasons
- Ability to drive throughout the state of Florida
Preferred candidates will:
- Have wildlife trapping experience
- Have experience working with wildlife or knowledge of their behaviors
- Flexible scheduling
- Ability to work weekends
