Summary 

Guest Service Agents are the face of WildPlay Element Parks, playing a crucial role as the welcoming members of our brand and embodying our pride. Our Guest Service Agents exceed guest expectations by consistently providing exceptional service and going above and beyond. With a friendly, confident, and informed approach, they greet our guests, handle reservations, manage check-ins, promote merchandise and photo/video packages, and ensure a smooth, efficient arrival and departure at WildPlay parks.

You excel at making people feel welcome and use assertive communication skills to meet each guest’s needs. You’re proactive, taking the initiative to complete tasks during quieter times, and a team player who collaborates seamlessly with others during busier times to enhance the overall guest experience.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

A Guest Service Agent's duties include but are not limited to: 

• Providing personal service that exceeds guests' expectations 

• Giving correct information regarding elements, products, pricing, access requirements, and promotions for both the Whirlpool Adventure Course and the Zipline to the Falls 

• Following element-specific procedures when booking or checking in guests and ensuring that waivers and registration forms are completed correctly 

• Administering reservations, deposits, payments, and collecting required guest information for each visit 

• Assisting guests in merchandise purchases, tracking inventory, and maintaining a clean, attractive, and organized appearance in all areas 

• Ensuring the correct amount of equipment is given to each guest 

• Maintaining general upkeep of park grounds and buildings 

• Assisting in other areas of operation when needed; may include in-field marketing and sales, guest bookings, retail sales, and the opening and closing procedures of the park 

• Participating in activities which promote park pride in a positive and proactive manner 

Required Qualifications and Skills 

The Guest Service Agent must possess the following qualifications and skills: 

• Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service 

• Ability to consistently achieve high standards of work in all aspects of the role 

• Unfailing attention to detail 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Good judgment and strong decision-making skills 

• Ability to act both independently and as a team player 

• Initiative and a proactive approach to general duties that improve the guest experience 

• Openness to feedback and a positive attitude 

• Physical demands include standing, sitting and occasional bending/twisting/ kneeling 

• Strong verbal communication skills along with active listening 

Note: On-the-job training will be provided upon employment.

Work Department 

Guest Service Agents fall under the Guest Service department. They report to the Guest Service Team Lead, Guest Service Supervisor, and Park Management.

Work Schedule    

This is classified as a seasonal position. Our peak season typically runs from April to October, depending on the weather and the needs of the business. Specific employee contracts are flexible and adaptable to individual availability.

During the season, Guest Service Agents work a flexible schedule of full-time and part-time employment.  This includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

At times, there may be requirements to work at multiple WildPlay Element Parks locations, including the Zipline to the Falls, Whirlpool Adventure Course, and Niagara Falls Contact Centre.
