What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver position at WildSide?
WildSide is seeking Shuttle Drivers who will operate vehicles to transport guests and bikes up our mountain. This individual should be knowledgeable of TDOT regulations, value the safety of our guests and employees, and maintain a respectful and positive attitude while on duty.
Responsibilities
- Being knowledgeable and comply with all DOT related requirements
- Participate in random drug testing
- Transporting guests and their bikes on mountain paths
- Help direct guests and employees
- Cleanliness of all parts of the vehicles and bike trailer
- Completing opening/closing procedures and checklists
- Completing and maintaining daily pre and post vehicle inspections
- Working with the vehicle mechanic to maintain upkeep on all vehicles
- Documenting any maintenance needs
- Tracking of visits both up and down the park
- Be familiar with all products and activities that Anakeesta has to offer
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current Driver License
- F endorsement on license required after the first 30 days of employment
- Clean 3-year MVR
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Proficient communication skills.
- Able to work in all-weather conditions.
- Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 51 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to operate a van for long periods of time
