Join the Wildwood team and help keep our camp in top shape! As our Custodian, you’ll be the key to ensuring that all of our cabins, dining areas, outdoor spaces, and facilities are clean, safe, and ready for guests to enjoy.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keep our camp clean and tidy, ensuring the safety and happiness of our campers and guests.
- Be a recycling pro by managing waste and maximizing recycling efforts wherever possible.
- Help keep things organized, from food service equipment to janitorial supplies, camp gear, and all the little things that keep camp running smoothly.
- Stick to all the important rules and standards, including safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and the American Camping Association (ACA) standards.
- Lend a hand with camper arrivals and departures during busy times and help out with program support as needed.
- Team up with the maintenance crew to knock out any additional tasks that pop up!
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and take pride in keeping Wildwood looking its best. Ideally, you’ll have 1 years of experience in a custodial or similar role, with a strong understanding of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet a few requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to pass pre-employment background checks.
- You must adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- The position requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working outdoors, navigating irregular terrain, and walking at least one mile daily in all weather conditions.

Summer Work Schedule:
Up to 30 hours each week from Noon to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday from mid-May 2025 through September 2025. Evening and weekend hours may be required on occasion.
